Dr. Parker was born and raised in Wisconsin but lived most of his adult life in Minnesota. He studied biology and global health at the University of St. Thomas, then moved on to Chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University. In that time, Dr. Parker also renovated an RV, traveled to 25 National Parks, and wrote a book!
Dr. Parker is also an avid adventurer and extreme sport enthusiast (no wonder why he ended up in Jackson). As you can imagine, he’s had his share of injuries while skiing, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. So, he can relate to almost any injury you bring his way. He knows first-hand how frustrating injuries can be and he feels your frustrations when you just can’t get rid of that nagging ache in your foot, shoulder, back, hip, etc.
Part of Dr. Parker’s mission involves helping people get back to doing the activities they love or used to love. To quote Dr. Parker, “Your life is better when you are outside adventuring and staying active. And I want your life to be better in every way. Therefore, when you come to see me, we are first going to work on getting you out of pain and back on the mountain as quickly as possible. Additionally, it means I will help equip you with the tools to take care of your problem on your own, so you don’t have to keep coming back to see me.”
Whether it’s your arms, legs, hips, or back, come on in to see Dr. Parker. He’ll help you with any new or nagging pain you throw at him. He loves a challenge!
